Mitchell Garden Club Starts Soon

This spring we will focus on prepping the Mitchell Community Garden for planting.  We will learn about the vegetables and flowers we plant and will maintain the garden while learning about the positive effects of health and nutrition through horticulture.  Weekly activities will be centered around kinesthetic and visual learning, with an emphasis on cooperation.  Students will lead an Earth Day celebration in April, and will reach out to neighboring schools for participation.  Music, PE and Art teachers are encouraged to provide activities for students to engage in.  Parent Volunteers are also encouraged to lend a hand any time.

In case of inclement weather, please check in with the main office for our secondary location.
