Math & Sci­ence Night

When:  Thurs­day, Sep­tem­ber 17, 2015  6–7:30pm — Mitchell Elementary

Would you like to touch exotic rep­tiles? Explore the pres­sure from a Golden Fire­fight­ers Fire Engine? Use a 3D printer? Make mol­e­cules? Work real robots? Look through high-powered micro­scopes? Make chem­i­cal reac­tions? Explore skele­tons? And much more!

Come to our 9th Annual Math and Sci­ence Night at Mitchell where fab­u­lous vol­un­teers from our awe­some Golden com­mu­nity and Col­orado School of Mines have set up dis­plays and exper­i­ments through­out Mitchell to share their enthu­si­asm for math, sci­ence, engi­neer­ing and tech­nol­ogy to over 700 stu­dents and their fam­i­lies.  Pizza will be avail­able for pur­chase at the liq­uids and solids café, so you don’t need to worry about dinner!

We need new exhibits! If you, a fam­ily mem­ber, or a friend would like to bring a dis­play or demon­stra­tion to adver­tise your busi­ness and show our stu­dents how math, sci­ence, engi­neer­ing and tech­nol­ogy can be a part of their lives, please con­tact us!

We need won­der­ful vol­un­teers to help make the night a suc­cess!  Please sign up to and vol­un­teer.  We need drinks, healthy snacks, and baked goods to sell, along with the pizza we will be pro­vid­ing for pur­chase, at the Liq­uids and Solids Café to help us fund this awe­some event.
