The 8th Annual Family
Math & Science Night

When:  Tuesday, September 23 2014  6–7:30pm — Mitchell Elementary

A night of family fun where Mitchell students & parents can participate in hands on activities in Math, Science, Engineering & Technology.

Exhibits and demonstrations generously provided by Mitchell parents, community professionals, Colorado School of Mines clubs & organizations, and local students.

Many of the fun exhibits that have been here in past years will return: demonstrations from Colorado School of Mines Clubs and activities in the fields of Agriculture, Physics, Earth Sciences, Math, Engineering, Health Sciences, and more. Mitchell’s very own Community Garden will be here this year and if you missed the reptiles last year, they will be back again!

Snacks for sale at the Solids & Liquids Cafe help offset the cost of the event.

Contact us for more information if you:

  • Would like to bring an exhibit or demonstration.
  • Are a 4th or 5th grader and would like to create a Math or Science Game to display at the event.
  • Would like to volunteer to help or bring a snack to sell.

Feel free to sign up to and volunteer
